Kidney Stone

Today is Monday. Today is the first day of October. The year is 2007. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to have a kidney stone removed. I'll be undergoing, Ureteroscopic Stone Removal. Dr. Sagedhi will go through my urethra into and through my bladder and then into my ureter. If this sounds like fun, you're free to join me tomorrow in Scottsdale, AZ. I have plenty of Vicodin and Percocet to go around! Not only will I have my junk invaded by medical personnel but come Saturday morning when I wake up for my morning bladder evacuation, I get to pull out a stent from my dork! Dr. Sagedhi said it will feel like a wet spaghetti noodle coming out. It better be a long piece of spaghetti! So, all this comes 2 1/2 months after my first "attack". I say "attack" because if you've ever experienced one you'll know why I use that word. My father, who was shot in the knee by an AK-47 in Vietnam, said he'd rather get shot in the knee again then go through kidney stone pain. Nothing I've felt in my life hurt so bad! I've broken bones, tore ligaments, received stitches 5 times, crashed my bike while trying new trickes, fallen off skateboards, slammed into the ground trying a new snowboard trick..you get the point. I've experienced pain.....but this little 4.5mm son-of-a-you-know-what knocked me senseless not once, not twice, not thrice but 4 times! I've been in so much pain that I was delirious and was going into shock! So, I'm going to try and document the procedure by video taping it. I don't know how the Dr. is going to feel about it, but I want to video as much as possible. I'll have a video link soon. So tune in and you'll know whats going on with my kidney stones. By the way if you've read this, please respond with your stories or comments or jokes about things going into holes where bodily fluids are supposed to be coming out instead of going in. Lets hear you.
